The Telemarketer position reports to the President and is the one we all count on to plant the seeds that drive our growth. You are responsible for putting our CEO and sales staff in front of qualified prospects on a regular basis. You’ll have to be resourceful and use every available tactic to achieve results. Your primary method will be using the telephone to successfully navigate prospect organizations, get to the decision maker, and schedule an in person appointment to discuss their strategy for leveraging technology as a strategic asset.
MUCH more importantly than all that stuff, however, we need your positive ENERGY in our office to just generally contribute to making this an INCREDIBLE place to work. Its SUPER helpful if you're funny too because we LOVE to laugh. We recognize that there is more to life than just a boring 8 to 5 job, so we like team members that we'd actually hang with if given a choice.
We’re looking for a rare breed – the person who not only isn’t afraid of making a high volume of phone calls, but actually seeks it out and takes pride in their ability to have productive conversations and set appointments from them. Even when a call doesn’t end in an appointment, you’re gathering intelligence to be used in a subsequent call. No to you just means “not right now, but maybe later” and you aren’t one to give up easily. Persistence is your middle name and you aren’t easily discouraged.
If you’re “the one” we’re looking for you also know that your success is directly tied to the quality of your database, so add to your list of heroic achievements taking ownership of our suspect/prospect database and nurturing it over time to become an appointment generating SECRET WEAPON. You’ll work with any sources available to you (social media, web, LinkedIn, list vendors) to keep a constant flow of new names coming into the top of the funnel. You’ll then meticulously gather data from each conversation and record it in the database – not only information like the size of the prospect, qualification criteria, etc. but intelligence like when you should call them back, best time of day to reach them, and ‘hot button’ topics that resonated with them in past conversations.
You’ll need the basics like Microsoft Office proficiency and good typing skills. We also have an industry specific CRM tool, but we’ll teach you how to use it. In additional we also have some AMAZING training resources to get you up to speed on our industry, and what we want to try to communicate to prospects to have them agree to a meeting.
More important than all that, however, is experience. We have lots of other opportunities for folks early in their career path but we’re looking for a veteran for this position. If you don’t have at least 5 years of AMAZING SUCCESS (which would mean that you’ve probably had at least 5 years of struggle before that) in a similar B to B telemarketing position, this probably isn’t the right fit for you.

This is a full time (W-2) position with an extremely competitive salary + performance incentive compensation package for the right candidate.
