itSynergy is the market leader in providing technology consulting services to small and medium businesses who have a high reliance on their technology. We exist for one reason and one reason alone - to create positive experiences with technology.
Above all, we're looking for a culture fit. We're extremely honest, don't bring our egos to work, LOVE to laugh and have fun, enjoy the challenge of working together towards a common goal, are good at what we do, and deliver results. Sound like a place where you'd fit right in? We'd love to talk with you.
The Marketing Specialist position reports to the President and is the one responsible for feeding our hungry sales staff with great high quality leads (and sometimes maybe a cookie or protein bar). As the Jedi master of warm lead production in a small company, you'll have your hands in just about anything marketing related. You'll need to be good at copy writing and creating short informal videos for our emails, blog, and other public facing material. Your AWESOME phone personality is what you'll rely on to make it easy for you when talking with prospects as part of a telemarketing campaign, driving event attendance, doing market research, or following up with prospects. You're going to need to know your way around a WordPress site (not the hardcore developer type, but someone who can keep things humming and add new content). You need to be savvy at creating compelling social media messages - check out what you'll be working with on our Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn presences. You'll be working closely with a BUNCH of vendors who are your go to partners when things get sticky (such as heavy WordPress work, PR, graphic design, paid search advertising, SEO, and more). Finally, you'll need to be our EXPERT at marketing automation - our current tool is Infusionsoft.
MUCH more importantly than all that stuff, however, we need your positive ENERGY in our office to just generally contribute to making this an INCREDIBLE place to work. Its SUPER helpful if you're funny too because we LOVE to laugh. We recognize that there is more to life than just a boring 8 to 5 job, so we like team members that we'd actually hang with if given a choice.
The successful candidate will enjoy interacting with people both in person and on the phone. We're a technology company and we practice what we preach so a high degree of comfort with the latest and greatest software is required. You're also reporting to the president who is SUPER detail oriented so it is important that you are comfortable ALWAYS dotting all of your Is and crossing all of your Ts.
It would be great if you have a B to B marketing background, especially if it is in the service industry. Our business involves signing customers up for monthly agreements which requires a LOT of trust so knowing how to nurture that type of lead is essential. A Bachelor's degree would give you a leg up but experience is good too as long as you're a fit for our culture. Infusionsoft is our platform so you'll need to be comfortable there, but we'd also help the right candidate with training. We are also heavy users of all the standard stuff like Microsoft Office so a PowerPoint presentation or Word document should feel like home to you. You'd be our only user of marketing specific tools like Photoshop and video editing software so you'll need to know that well enough to take the reins and accomplish light 'maintenance' type tasks. We're computer people not designers, so you'll need to have a good eye for what looks good and be able to communicate your vision to our graphic design vendor. We have a couple of other software programs, but we'll teach you those so you just need to be generally comfortable with the computer and a decent typist.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must have reliable transportation.
This is a full time (W-2) position with an extremely competitive compensation package for the right candidate.
